Is it scary?

We think so! That’s the point!

What are the hours of operation?

Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00pm. The last admission is at 10:30pm so you can finish by midnight.
Sunday evenings at 7:pm. The last admission is at 8:30pm so you can finish by 10:00pm.

Are there refunds?

Sleepy Hollow does not offer refunds on unused or unwanted tickets. This is a rain or shine event. There are covered queue lines for your wait.

Will anyone touch me?

No. Our actors are trained to scare you without touching you. That being said, it is very dark and foggy. An actor may accidentally bump into you, or you may bump into them. Don’t worry though, nobody will intentionally grab you.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes to keep you warm / protected. Most importantly, WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOSE TOED SHOES. Our park and attractions have various substrates throughout, including grass, mulch, rock, wood bridges, concrete, and dirt. When it rains, dirt becomes mud. Keep this in mind. While costumes are allowed, masks or coverings that hide your face are not.

How much does it cost?

Please visit our online ticket sales site for rates. Adult rates apply to ages 12 and older, Child rates 11 and younger.

Do you offer group rates?

Please use our contact form or email mary@sleepyhollowsportspark.com for information on group rates. We do offer a discount for groups of 20 or more.

Is there food/drink available at the park?

Sorry, but not on Oct 29th and 31st as overnight temps will be too low to keep water running to the snack shop.

How does your online ticket system work?

Like magic! Purchase your tickets through our ticket page, print them off or have a screenshot of the ticket on your phone, and bring them with you.

How old do you have to be? Is this a family friendly event?

Open to all ages. We recommend parents make the decision for their individual children as to what if any attractions are appropriate to attend.

Are the scares wheelchair accessible?

Due to the outdoor location of this event we cannot guarantee handicap access to all areas. We have made handicap access available in the Castle of Blood, Chaos,The Gauntlet, Apocalypse, Tortuga and for as much of the grounds as possible.

Do you use smoke or strobe lights?

Yes. A lot! Theatrical smoke is used ALL OVER throughout the park and in just about every haunted house. Strobe lights are used in many attractions. We do have warnings posted outside of every attraction that uses strobe lights.

Are costumes allowed?

We do allow costumes in the park, with a few basic rules:

  • Costumes must be family appropriate.
  • Costume masks that cover your entire head are NOT allowed.
  • Anyone wearing a costume MAY NOT identify themselves or portray themselves to be a Sleepy Hollow employee. Costumed guests MAY NOT act as “Street Actors”, trying to scare other guests.
  • Please do not wear any over-sized costumes or anything that may inhibit your ability to walk through tight spaces or crawl in the haunted houses.

Do you serve alcoholic beverages?

For everyones safety, we do not sell alcoholic beverages.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

All food and beverages must be purchased on property. This includes alcohol. Anyone carrying beer or alcohol around the park will be presumed to have brought their own in and will be asked to leave the premises.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is not allowed in any attractions, queues, buildings, or covered tents.

Can I take photos?

Photos are allowed throughout the park, but not in any of the attractions. We’d love to see your photos, so be sure and upload them to our Facebook page!

Is there anything we cannot bring into the park?

No bags are allowed in the park. Besides food and beverages, ABSOLUTELY NO WEAPONS are allowed in the park. This includes guns, knives, pepper spray, stun guns, or any other weapons or personal defense items. To avoid confusion, this also includes fake or “prop” weapons. All guests must go through a bag check when entering the park. Any prohibited items will not be allowed inside.

Does the park have security?

In addition to roaming security throughout the park, every major attraction has security posted inside. Additionally, all guests must go through a bag check when entering the park.

I want to do a story on your park or attractions. Who do I contact?

Great! Fill out our contact form, and let us know the specifics on the story you want to do. We love having members of the media out to see what we have to offer!

How old do you have to be to work there?

All actors must be 16 years old, though many positions require you to be 18 years old. To get involved contact the general manager on our contact form.
